Susan joined The Beacon Home Team in 2015 as their “Operations Jedi” overseeing the general operations of the team. Clients are drawn to her warmth and genuine caring approach as well as her enthusiasm and desire to exceed expectations. She believes that connecting with clients on a personal level allows for a more personalized client experience along with a deeper understanding and trust that the team has the client’s specific goals and considerations at top of mind.
Susan grew up in Baltimore and still lives in her childhood family home. Her love for Baltimore, the Catonsville community and surrounding neighborhoods is evident in her knowledge and enthusiasm to discuss all things related to Maryland. Her love for architecture and design started as a small child designing blueprints alongside her father who was the owner of a local home remodeling business. Her education includes degrees in Theater and Fitness & Nutritional Sciences, certifications/licenses in Medical Aesthetics, Energy Therapy, Reflexology among other naturopathic modalities.
Susan has a passion for people and spends a great deal of time volunteering and advocating various organizations and causes including Autism awareness, The Baltimore Humane Society, Catonsville Women’s Giving Circle, The Catonsville Tree Canopy Project, Patapsco Valley Greenway, and more. She writes music on the piano and guitar and can be heard on various albums for local bands playing or singing background vocals. She’s currently working on writing her fifth children’s book, the first of a series based on her experiences volunteering in Baltimore from which she plans to create a non-profit for literacy in Baltimore City elementary schools. She enjoys being outdoors in nature, writing and playing music, traveling, spending time with family, friends and her fur baby, Chaco The Wonder Dog.
